bad-location2If potential clients have an issue with where your office is located, you may be losing out on a considerable number of cases for your law firm. Below, are five easy solutions to overcome this, without moving your office.

What is a bad location, from a client’s viewpoint?

–  Clients have a difficult time finding your office.
–  Your office is not readily locatable using a maps website or app.
–  Clients must park a long distance away from your office
–  Parking is “paid only” (no free parking).
–  The office is located a long drive from a client’s home or work.

If any of the above situations apply to your office location, try these easy solutions:

1.  Email very clear, step-by-step, turn-by-turn, directions to the new client/prospect prior to their first meeting with you. Mention a familiar landmark that’s nearby.

2.  Offer to pay for, or validate a prospect’s parking costs so they may park in the closest lot to your office.

3.  Let prospects know where the “free parking” is nearby your office, rather than letting them try to figure it out.

4.  Offer to meet a client at a neutral location, rather than requiring them to drive to your office.

5.  Set up one or more “satellite offices” at virtual office locations around your city (companies such as Regus offer “pay by the hour or day” offices with shared reception).
